Socio-environmental Action in the Água Azul Community 1min 26 April, 2024 On April 26, the Environment team at the Tomé-Açu Pole promoted an important Socio-Environmental Action in the Água Azul Community. The event took place at the Jarbas Passarinho Municipal Elementary School and saw the active participation of teachers and residents who work and/or study there. During the action, various activities were carried out, including: Educational talks: Environmental and awareness-raising topics were covered to inform and engage the community. Practical first-aid classes: Residents received essential instructions on how to respond to emergencies. Soil erosion tests: Practical demonstrations were carried out to illustrate the effects of erosion and prevention methods. Distribution of gifts: Items were handed out to participants as a way of encouraging and thanking them for taking part.
